S.Arch is a full service architecture and project management firm based in Puerto Rico, serving clients across the Caribbean since 2012. We work across four markets: luxury residential, FEMA funded reconstruction, healthcare facilities, and commercial spaces. What connects them is not the building type but the approach.
Every project begins with understanding what matters most to the people who will use the space. It ends with a built result that reflects that understanding, down to the last detail. We do not separate design thinking from technical execution. The precision of a structural solution and the intent behind a spatial sequence are part of the same conversation.
Over fourteen years we have delivered more than fifty projects representing over one hundred million dollars in construction value. That record is not measured in square footage or budget totals. It is measured in clients who return, in buildings that perform as promised, and in spaces that hold their meaning long after the scaffolding comes down.
Our team holds licensure and credentials across architecture, project management, and regulatory compliance. We are licensed members of the Colegio de Arquitectos y Arquitectos Paisajistas de Puerto Rico (CAAPPR) and the American Institute of Architects (AIA). Where other firms hand off, we stay involved. From first sketch through certificate of occupancy, the same people who design are accountable for the outcome.
Our Process

We involve clients, builders, and end users early and often. Not as a philosophy statement, but because it produces better buildings. A hospital renovation with active patient operations, a school reconstruction navigating federal compliance, a waterfront residence on a challenging site, each of these demands a process shaped by its own realities.
Budgets, codes, schedules, and regulatory frameworks are not obstacles to design. They are the conditions that sharpen it. Our method embraces those conditions and turns them into architecture that performs, endures, and rewards attention.
We coordinate every stage internally: programming, schematic design, design development, construction documents, permitting, and construction administration. This continuity is not a convenience. It is the reason our buildings are built the way they were designed.
Founder
George S. Stewart Díaz
George founded S.Arch in 2012 with a clear conviction: rigorous process and thoughtful design are not competing priorities. They are the same discipline, and the buildings that perform over time are the ones where both are executed with precision.
With more than twenty five years of experience, he has led projects across Puerto Rico and the Caribbean, including institutional and healthcare facilities, commercial and interior work, and high end residential projects. His involvement spans the full lifecycle of each project, from early planning and permitting through construction and closeout.
He works within complex regulatory environments, including FEMA, COR3, and OGPe, without allowing them to dictate the outcome. Through direct participation in design build delivery, he brings a practical understanding of how buildings are assembled, and uses that knowledge to maintain control of both design intent and execution across every project type.
Under his leadership, S.Arch has delivered more than fifty projects representing over one hundred million dollars in construction value. He remains directly involved in every project the firm undertakes.
